“It will definitely happen”

One Direction has officially been out of our lives for over a year now. At the beginning of 2016, the band announced they would be going on an indefinite hiatus after five years of working hard at being the world’s biggest boy band.

But, tonight we are here to tell you that they will eventually come back into our lives. So there is no need to sob into your One Direction commemorative cushion covers because a reunion is on the way.

Niall told Smallzy that One Direction ‘The Sequel’ will totally happen.

“I’m doing this, going to be doing a bit of a tour. Harry’s got his movie coming out, Harry’s doing his thing. Louis doing his thing and Liam’s doing his thing. A year has gone so quick already. But when it does happen, it’s going to be great.”

WATCH:

Niall, Liam, Louis and Harry have all gone their separate ways during the hiatus.

Niall released the song ‘This Town’ and it looks like he could be going on tour sometime soon based on the way he described writing his upcoming album. The teen heartthrob told Smallzy:

“If I had twelve ‘This Town’ I’d put the place to sleep. I listen to anything at all. I write songs for my gigs, in my head I’m thinking what would this sound like? Could this open a show? I’m literally thinking of this stuff in my head.

I want to be able to travel the world and not stand there for an hour and a half with a guitar.”

Liam is also rumoured to be releasing solo music but that’s not the only big thing happening in Liam’s life. The One Direction member is expecting a baby with girlfriend Cheryl Cole.

The couple has been dating since 2016 and have remained quiet on the pregnancy but there could be a little Payno any day now.

Louis also ventured out into the solo music career world. Just before Christmas Louis dropped a ‘Just Hold On’ with Steve Aoki. Louis debuted the song at the finale of the X Factor UK, just days after his mum tragically passed away from Cancer.

As for Harry he is about to make his acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s epic World War II movie Dunkirk. We have a feeling that when this highly anticipated movie is released the cinema will be full of screaming fans.
