Was your commute hazy?

If you thought it was smokey on your commute this morning, you’re spot on.

Sydneysiders woke to smoke around the city, particularly in the south, as the NSW Rural Fire Service continued hazard reduction burning.

The two burns are happening near Loftus and the Heathcote National Park.

RFP rep Ben Shepherd has told the ABC there’s more to come.

"Traditionally this is the time of year we get most of the [hazard-reduction] program done. We get 50 per cent done in Autumn."

Anyone with asthma should take their normal precautions and take a look at these tips from the Asthma Foundation.
