This Jurassic World fan theory is going viral
Do you believe this theory about Chris Pratt's character "Owen" in the box office smash-hit Jurassica World?!
This Jurassic World fan theory is doing the rounds at the moment - it's rather far fetched, but seeing as the movie is SMASHING it at the box office, we thought you might be interested…
So the REAL identity of Chris Pratt's character is the subject in question in this theory - many fans have taken to the internet to share that they believe Pratt's character in the newest Jurassic Park instalment, Owen, is actually the grown up character of a young kid who appeared in the original 1993 Jurassic Park movie.
In the original, there's this young kid who is annoying Sam Neill's character, saying he didn't think raptors were scary.
Yeah, that's who "Owen" is believed to be as a kid.
In the 1993 film, Sam Neill's character Dr Alan Grant gives this kid a lecture on showing some respect. The kid agrees.
Go forward to the current film Jurassic World. Owen says his relationship with raptors in the park is "based on respect".
The actor who played that annoying kid was an actor called Whit Hertford, who Chris Pratt is only one year younger than in real life - so their ages match up almost perfectly.
When asked, director Colin Trevorrow left the speculation dangling even further by saying "I'm not sure I want to answer because the speculation is so much fun. Let's not kill the fun."
ERGH. So we'll never know?!
PS. Hi Chris Pratt.
