Tom Hiddleston opens up about that one time he peed on a man
Fun fact: the man's name was also Tom
Ahh, bless Graham Norton, honestly. He has such a wonderful gift for making guests on The Graham Norton Show spin the best bloody yarns.
As you may or may not have guessed from the title of this article, one recent yarn had to do with Tom Hiddleston and a spot of pee.
On the show recently, Tom Hiddleston opened up about that one time he peed on The Night Manager co-star Tom Hollander.
To be fair, the story kind of proved Tom Hiddleston is a top bloke, as his actions were the result of Hollander getting stung by a jellyfish. But the story was still hilarious, maybe because of the British accent that even comes through in type.
"Tom [Hollander] got stung by a jellyfish and he shouted across the beach, 'I say, old sport, could you come and pee on me?' and I engagingly obliged.
"I've since read up on it and I don't think it works - it's an old wives' tale."
I say, old chap! Blimey bugger them old wives and their tales, pish posh!
The anecdote continued with Hiddleston revealing that this incident actually related to his nickname in school. When he attended Eton - a notoriously posh school in Windsor - his schoolmates ruthlessly dubbed him "Piddleston".
This, from kids attending the same school as Prince William, Prince Harry, and Prime Minister David Cameron. If that's not proof that potty humour is the grand leveller of classes, I don't know what is.
If only we had've known this last year, we could've had #Piddleswift.
