CW: This post discusses allegations of domestic violence.

Sam Cochrane from The Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise made headlines this morning following allegations former girlfriend Tara Pavlovic was verbally and physically abusive towards him when drinking.

Sam, 31, told Woman's Day how Tara, 28, would allegedly call him a loser in front of his friends, punch and bite him (you can read the full story here).

Since then Tara has responded - albeit non-directly - to the allegations via an Instagram Story post.

Along with the words, "Champagne on a flight 'cause apparently I'm an alcoholic", Tara wrote:

"There are terrible people in this world. I've learned that over the past six months. I reach a low I never knew I could reach and I turned intop a person I have never seen before."

"Keep amazing people like this in your life, and don't let narcissistic people with hidden agendas emotionally bring you down.

So excited for our adventure @gracijam. I am so grateful for my amazing REAL friends and my family. You all know me and you know I am a good person and that's all that matters."

Sam originally told the publication:

"I never wanted to tell this story but ultimately I wish she would get some help."

"She doesn't think she needs it but she's in an environment that condones it. She would say I don't hit my friends, I don't bite my friends, trying to imply that I'm the reason things got so bad, but I'm not."
