Pete Davidson reportedly refused to see Ariana Grande after sharing worrying note
"I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything."
TMZ reports Ariana wasn't allowed to see Pete over the weekend with sources saying he asked his security not to let her in.
It's believed Pete knew Ariana was on her way because she'd called friends after he posted what appeared to be a suicide note and they told Pete.
The since-deleted post read:
"I really don't want to be on this earth anymore. I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last."
Ariana wrote in a since-deleted tweet:
“I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything."
“I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but i’m here too.”
The New York Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly that officers "made a wellness check" and successfully "made contact with him".
Pete's friend Machine Gun Kelly rushed to be by his side and took to social media to say:
"I'm in the plane now on the way to see Pete. Gonna make sure he's good, I promise. Can't have my boy in the darkness like that."
Pete's note came after he slammed Ariana for using Kanye West's feud with Drake to promote her and Miley's new songs, he wrote on Instagram:
“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this.”
“We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”
Ariana and Pete called off their engagement in October.
