Harry Styles is leaving One Direction’s long-time management team, Modest Management and has signed with CAA’s Jeffrey Azoff.

Teenage hearts are going to be breaking everywhere today, because this smells like the end of One Direction as we know it. Harry Styles has officially decided to part ways with his One Direction management team.

Modest Management confirmed the news in a statement to Billboard saying, “We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him. Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him. We look forward to sharing some great wine with them next time we are in L.A.”

The news comes as US Weekly last week reported that One Directions current hiatus is actually a permanent break. The foursome collectively decided not to renew their recording contract with a source telling Us Weekly, “The 1D thing just ran its course. They’ll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers.”

“Liam is really interest in song writing and production. And Styles, 22, is looking toward the big screen. Harry is launching a career in acting and singing.”

Just last week ex boyband member Zayn Malik released his first solo single Pillowtalk. Zayn’s new song is a far cry from One Direction’s first hit single What Makes You Beautiful. The song is loud, sexy, has f-bombs galore and it’s explicitly about sex.

Zayn also dropped a major 1D bombshell last week when he admitted he never wanted to be part of the band. Speaking with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe he said, “I always wanted to go, from the first year really. I never really wanted to be in the band. I just gave it a go because it was there at the time.”

A week ago One Direction released their final music video before their extended hiatus (Well it could be their last music video ever!) The simple but emotional video took us all on a journey from the moment the boys were put together on The UK version of The X Factor to the devastating moment Zayn announced he as leaving the band, to their final appearance together before they went on hiatus.

One Direction's final music video History

To be honest the music video seems a lot like a goodbye to us….
