Celebrities team up to support a devastated Kesha after legal blow
Since Kesha lost her legal battle with Dr. Luke some of the music industries biggest names have come forward in support of the star.
Over the weekend Kesha lost her court battle with Sony and music producer Dr. Luke after a judge refused to grant her the right to break her exclusive recording contract with the label. Dr. Luke alledgedly raped and abused Kesha, so we can imagine how hard it must have been for her to hear the judge's ruling. Kesha’s lawyer told Rolling Stone that the singer endured abuse from him since the age of 18:
"This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke."
Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Lily Allen and Demi Lovato are some of the big music names
obviously they’re not signed on with Sony music that have rallied behind Kesha. The 28-year-old has received an abundance of support from both fans and other celebrities with a hashtag #FreeKesha going viral.

Kesha thanked fans for their support:
So, who is Dr Luke? Firstly his real name is Lukasz Sebastian Gottwalk and is responsible for a LOT of big names. Shakira, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Rihanna are just to name a few. Pretty much he has worked with everyone who is big in the music industry.
