All hail the (Dark) Lord, we're getting A LOT more of the ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’
Hello darkness our old friend
If you haven’t watched the Netflix original series ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ then you’re seriously missing out.
A lot darker than the 1996 ABC show ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’, this series is a lot darker and a lot creepier but just as good.
If you HAVE watched it then you’ll understand our excitement that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Sabrina’s chilling adventures.
TWO WHOLE SEASONS MORE.
The cast just wrapped filming on season two which means seasons three and four and locked in and we’re so ready.
“Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Bros., Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch,” creator of both CAOS and Riverdale, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, announced according to Pedestrian.
“And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka.” AKA the IRL Sabrina Spellman.
Kiernan shared the news on her Instagram with a smiley cast shot captioned “Renewal feels!!!”
Is anyone else getting possible love-triangle vibes from this photo??
Miranda Otto took a break from her usual no-nonsense role as Sabrina’s no-nonsense Aunt Zelda to share the news with a very cute Salem video:
“Nobody says it better than my favourite Yule cat, Salem. We’re back Witches! Part 2, April 5, and renewed for part 3 and 4. Thank you Satan-and Netflix!,” she wrote.
Lucy Davis, AKA Aunt Hilda, kept things cheery with a onesie selfie:
“I am THIS much happy! A) because #sabrina has been renewed for 16 more episodes and B) because @kiernanshipka bought me this onesie. Honestly it’s a bit of a tie as to which is better,” she captioned the snap.
This isn’t some trick of the light or evil ploy by the Dark Lord, this one is really happening peeps.
So get your best demon hunting outfit ready, because production is set to start much sooner than you might think.
The 16-episode order will be split in half, much like the first and second seasons, and will begin production in 2019.
Which is in two weeks so…
