The top baby names for 2016, so far have been released and it looks like the Olivia’s are going to be ruling the school.

We get it choosing a baby name is really tough, you have to consider whether or not it will evolve into a horrible nickname or if they’ll be bullied later in life. 

So 2016...

2016 will be the year of gender neutral names. In 2015 there were glimpses of the fad in the celebrity world. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds named their daughter James while Mia Kunis and Ashton Kutcher names their first daughter Wyatt.

These celebrities were on to something because BabyCenter’s Global Editor-in-Chief Linda Murray said,

“As usual, baby names are reflecting a larger cultural shift. Millennials are an open-minded and accepting group, and they don’t want their children to feel pressure to conform to stereotypes that might be restrictive.”
