A Hollywood blockbuster is filming in Centennial Park
Keep an eye out for the A-list stars
If you’re walking around Centennial Park this week, you’ll probably notice it’s looking a little different.
The Sydney park is being transformed into a quaint English village as filming begins on a major Hollywood movie.
The new Peter Rabbit film, a mix of live action and animation, has commenced production as the cast begin jetting into town.
The movie stars some of Hollywood’s hottest actors including James Corden, Domhnall Gleeson and Aussie superstars Rose Byrne and Margot Robbie.
James Corden will play Peter Rabbit but the rest of the cast’s roles remain under wraps.
Prior to the start of filming, the Rose Byrne took her partner and fellow actor Bobby Cannavale to the Great Barrier Reef.
It’s likely a hard time for her co-star Domhnall Gleeson following the death of Carrie Fisher late last year.
The actor became close with Carrie while filming while filming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Beatrix Potter story was first published in 1902 and has remained a children’s favourite for more than a century, selling more than 150 million copies.
The film is due for release in March 2018.
