What's changed since Sex and The City?

Sex and The City ended 10 years ago and a lot has changed since then

Remember when Carrie's hair was crazy curly and Mr Big wasn't even in the picture?...

Sarah Jessica Parker

When the first Sex and The City episode aired on our screens in 1998, Ms Parker had hair that you could bounce a ball off of! Eight years later, and although Sex and The City the TV show had wrapped up, plans were in place for Sex and The City the movie! With several movies and awards under her very fashionable belt, Sarah Jessica is now mostly seen around her home of Manhattan, taking care of her kids, James and twins Tabitha and Marion, looking just as fabulous as ever.

Kim Cattrall

Bursting onto our screens in 1998 as Samantha, Kim Cattrall shocked us all with her straight-talking character who hid absolutely nothing! Ever glamorous and oh so sexy, Kim turned her hand to many theatre productions post-SATC and is now seen attending exhibition openings, premieres and charity events around New York. And seems to be completely ageless!

Cynthia Nixon

Making us laugh out loud as the straight talking, occasionally stern Miranda in Sex and The City, we grew along side her as she learnt to soften and allow love into her life in the form of Steve. Eight years later, SATC had wrapped up, Cynthia had won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play, given birth to two children, separated from her partner and started dating Christine Marinoni, whom she married in 2012. The star now appears on Broadway and in various TV shows, both in front of and behind the camera.

Kristin Davis

Ah Charlotte. You were completely neurotic and we loved you for it. Probably the Sex and The City girl who we've seen the least of outside the show and the movies, Kristin made her West End debut this year starring as Beth Gallagher in 'Fatal Attraction' at Theatre Royal Haymarket, London. She also has a daughter, Gemma, whom she adopted in 2011, and seems to have aged just one day in 16 years!
