Taylor Swift shakes off Kanye West’s diss in the classiest way possible

What’s Tay Tay got to say to 'Ye?

We’re not quite sure what’s happening with Kanye West this week, but he’s been acting batsh*t crazy. Like, legitimately, crazy. In addition to writing some weirder-than-normal / please-make-him-stop tweets, Ye released a track called Famous with some scathing lyrics about Taylor Swift:

"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex

Why? I made that bitch famous (God damn)

I made that bitch famous"

Nautrally, all of Tay Tay's friends, her brother, and the whole world went "WTF, Kanye?". And he went, "No, it's fine guys, Taylor knew about this". And her reps went, "Nope, she definitely didn't".

Then on Monday, Tay Tay finally spoke for herself. During her Album of the Year acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards, the queen of the #girlsquad gave 'Ye the classiest shut down we've seen in a while.

"As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I wanna say to all the young women out there: there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”

Your move, Kanye.
