Rihanna's new album was dropped, picked up, then released again
Rihanna's eighth album ANTI was released online for FourFiveSeconds, taken down, then dropped again.
There had been reports Rihanna’s eight album ANTI would be dropping sometime before this Friday. But then
in a brilliant PR move by mistake, Tidal went ahead and released it themselves. The tracks were up for basically FourFiveSeconds before the streaming music service realised their mistake and took them down.
But as is always with the case of the Interwebs, it was too late. Some fast-fingered geniuses had already downloaded the tracks and were leaking them all over the place. Rihanna decided to bite the bullet and the whole thing was ~officially~ released a little bit later.
The album's going to stream exclusively on Tidal for a week and if you get in quick, you may be one of the limited lucky ones that get a complimentary download. We've already been treated to her new single Work with the one and only Drake, but you really gotta listen to this whole beautiful thang - here here here.
