A Cruel Intentions TV show is becoming an actual thing
Our prayers have been answered - Cruel Intentions will be back in our lives.
In the '90s, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. were undeniably two of the hottest teen flick actors around. But since getting hitched and having kids, the pair seemed to disappear from the limelight as they played house. Exhibit A.
And exhibit B.
But now SMG is back in our lives and we couldn't be more thrilled. Why? Because not only is she back, but she's bringing a bit of the '90s nostalgia with her.
The actress shared a snap on Wednesday announcing she'd begun work on a Cruel Intentions pilot show. The photo shows a collage of her, the movie's director Roger Kumble, and the executive producer Neal Moritz on the eve of production on the original film. Above the throwback pic is one of the threesome on the eve of production on the new pilot show.
"That's right 'everybody loves me, and I intend to keep it that way' #kathrynmerteuil is back!!! I am happy to say that I will be joining them (and @nbctv) on the new #Crueltv."
We hoenstly cannot wait.
