Bindi Irwin and family are packing their bags to head for the jungle
Ten confirmed on Wednesday that Bindi Irwin, her mum Terri, and brother Bob will be joining I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Our favourite Aussie wildlife warrior will be heading to the jungle next Monday night. On Wednesday, Ten announced Bindi Irwin would be the latest addition to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here's camp.
But it won’t just be the daughter of the late Steve Irwin that’s going. The 17-year-old will bringing along her mum Terri and brother Bob. While the family had joined her in the US during her recent stint on Dancing With The Stars, this time, they’ll also be the ones in the public eye.
The network has yet to confirm how long Bindi & Co. will be on the show for, or whether they'll even be contestants, but judging by Bindi's popularity on DWTS, the family's presence should make for some truly great TV. I mean, look at this adorable girl.
This announcement comes after Shane Warne showed up to the jungle on Sunday night as an intruder. He told news.com.au beforehand, he had no idea what to expect.
“I could be out in a week, you don’t know. I’m a very competitive person so I’m hoping to try and win it. If I don’t want to do something I just won’t do it. And if I want to do something, I throw everything into it and give it a good crack, that’s why the six weeks rather than get dropped in for a day or two.”
"I thought I'd be worth a lot more than I'm getting."
The other 11 'celebs' (it's term used very loosely) currently in the camp are Bonnie Lythgoe, Paul Harragon, Havana Brown, Laurina Fleure, Val Lehman, Anthony Callea, Jo Beth Taylor, Brendan Fevola, Dean Geyer, Courtney Hancock and Akmal Saleh. There's been drama-drama-drama already in South Africa, but one big thing everyone's been talking about is Laurina revealing her scars from a bowel obstruction surgery. Before you ask - she's an ex Bachelor girl. And yes, we had forgotten about her too.
